The event snippet tracks actions that should be counted as conversions. Install this snippet on site pages you'd specifically like to track conversions for such as "thank you pages", "opt-in form", "VSL page" or the like.

Therefore:

  • If you're tracking conversions by page load, add the event snippet to the page you're tracking.
  • If you’re tracking conversions by click, add the event snippet to the page that has the button or link you’d like to track for clicks.

The same rule applies if you are using a Facebook Event Snippet or Google Event Snippet.

To add this to a specific page, just use open the tool option and look for 'HTML' module.

Drag and drop the module to the header of the specific page or to the button/section of the event you want to track.

Let's say you want to track how many clicked the announcement box on your page. Then drag and drop the HTML module on the announcement box section.

Enter the event code under 'General' tab.

Save the changes you made.
